Colossians 4:5-6 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. 6?Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
How do you answer a man? People today always have an answer even if it is a foolish one. Ask people about the Lord, ask them about their place in eternity, ask them about spiritual things and they always have an answer, at least most people I talk to do. Yet it is not an answer that will hold up at the judgment seat of Christ. So how do we then answer a man? Christian, we need to be ready to tell the lost about Jesus Christ, we need to be prepared. Know your Bible, walk with the Lord in wisdom, have words seasoned with salt, ready to give an answer. Our time in this world is getting shorter every day and we need to use it wisely in telling others about Jesus Christ. Some that you talk to today may be the last time you ever get to talk to them about Jesus. Be ready to give an answer, and use the time.
