January 17th, 2011 by Pastor SolleyGalatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, 16?To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:Here is a thought, there are times when God is pleased to use you and me in His work. Think of that for a moment before we move on. There are times when God is pleased to use you and me in His work. Certainly God was pleased to use Joseph, Daniel, John, and Paul. Certainly God was pleased to use Ezra, Nehemiah, and Jeremiah. But there is the eternal truth of Scripture that tells us God is pleased to use you and me as well. That truth should encourage us to go on in the Lord. But that truth carries a great weight of responsibility as well. Will God be pleased with what I do today? Is God pleased with how I started my day? Will God be pleased with everything I say and do throughout this day? God wants to be pleased with me. Will I conduct myself today in a way that God can be pleased with me? Think of that today.
