Daily Devotions

Sorry no post yesterday. Was in Ohio for the day, left at 4:00AM back late so no post but trust you had a good day int he Lord.
Psalm 74:16? The day is thine, the night also is thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun. 17? Thou hast set all the borders of the earth:Thou hast made summer and winter.

I often look at December as the start of winter. It turns colder and we look for snow, we know Christmas is just around the corner and then the long months of Jan. and Feb. before the winds of March. For many winter is a depressing time but here is something to remember. Our God has made both the summer and winter, they both serve a purpose. Winter may not be a comfortable season but it is still made by God and our hearts can stay warm and productive even if the ground seems to be asleep in the cold. When we can’t get out this winter lets stay close to the Lord. Perhaps more time reading the Bible, more time in prayer, will make the winter seem like spring time in our hearts. God may put the ground to rest for a few months but not us.
