Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28?Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
There are many Christians who claim to want to serve Jesus, who claim that they do serve Jesus. But notice what the Bible says in verse 26 above. If any man would serve Jesus, let him follow Jesus. Do you know that you cannot serve Jesus without following Him? Many professing Christians seem to miss this point in Scripture. I love the Church where I am serving and the people. But many of those who would say they love and serve Jesus the most were not in church last night, will not be there Wednesday night, do not take part in visitation, do not teach classes, work in the nursery, help clean the church or really do anything. But where is Jesus? Is He not in the church? Is Jesus not involved in the visitation program? Is Jesus not concerned with working in the church? Jesus is most certainly in all of these things. So if a person loves and serve Jesus would they also be in those things? We have some very strange ideas about love and service today. If you want to serve Him, if you Love Him, then you have to be where He is.
