2 Timothy 2:11-13 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12?If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13?If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
There is a statement concerning the Word of God at the end of verse 13 that is a real blessing. God cannot deny Himself. Because God is holy, because God is righteous, because God is true, God cannot deny Himself. That means whatever is written in His Word is true, has happened, or will happen, God cannot deny Himself. However we tend to be given to doubts and fears much of the time. We tend to question what God is doing, or even if God will do whatr He has said. Notice the first part of the verse, “If we believe not”. Many times we do not believe but even in those times God is faithful to His Word, God cannot deny Himself. In times of doubt and fear flee to the Word of God dear friend, God cannot deny Himself.
