1 Corinthians 3:1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2?I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Do you ever get frustrated because you feel as if you are not as far along as other Christians, that you are still a babe? That others seem to be stronger in faith than you are, closer to the Lord than you are? Well consider this, babies grow. It is a most natural thing for a baby to grow. The parents give them the things they need, food, water, a warm place to sleep, protection, and they just naturally grow. Your heavenly Father is giving you the things you need to grow through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, a good church, and prayer. You will grow if you want to. The ones in the text were carnal, more interested in the world than in the Lord. Give the Lord your heart and you will grow. It will be a most natural thing.
