Psalm 122: I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
David had plenty of reasons to be glad to go into the house of the Lord. For one thing David was just happy that God wanted to meet with him. David knew who he was and what had taken place in his life. Still God wanted to meet with David, to fellowship with David, to have communion with David. David knew that God would always be there for him and he wanted to be there, be in the house of God for his Lord. This is one reason to be glad to go to church that I think most people miss. We ought to be glad to go just because God wants us to be there. God wants to meet with you and with me. How happy are we to meet in His special place of worship with Him.?
