Ps 1221 I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of the LORD.Why was David glad to go into the house of the Lord? Lets examine a few reasons.
First of all David was glad because of the good things that happen there. – Ps 122:9 Because of the house
of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
Church is a place where good things happen. Good decisions are made in church, good friends are made in church. Good things happen in church. Think of the times when you have faced decisions in your life. The times when you didn’t know what to do or where to turn. The answer can be found in church. Not in the words of the preacher but in the Word of God. Let the Lord hold up your goings, lead into His paths. – Ps 17
David wanted to be in church, was glad to be there because of the good things that happen there. Think of all the good things that have happened in your life because of church. That will make you glad to be there.
