October 6th, 2010 by Pastor SolleyJohn 4:12-15 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.Are you thirsty? Have you ever been so thirsty that you just could not be satisfied? Have you ever been so thirsty that you bowed your head and thanked God for just that one sip of water? Then you could drink and drink until that thirst went away. Have you ever been that thirsty.? We all have been in that condition spiritually. Some do not know it but they are in great thirst and the only one that can satisfy is Jesus. Yet there is Jesus standing with arms wide open ready to give of that living water which will satisfy. Yes the first application of this passage is salvation. But Christian Jesus still has all you need after you are saved. Jesus is still your answer today. Are you thirsty today? Come to the well of living water.
