11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season , until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.Rest is a good thing as long as you do not get too much of it. Think of it for a moment. We need to rest. Rest from our work, our daily schedule, from the world. There are times when we need a rest. But not too much. We need to work, to do the everyday things in life, and to walk as a light for Jesus in this world. There are some who never rest. Satan never rests in his attacks upon us, in his temptations, in his trials. Satan never rests in his attack on you. And Jesus never rests. Never rests in protection us, providing for us, guiding us. Jesus never rests. Yes there are times when we just need a rest. But don’t take too much rest, the battle still goes on.
