17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
For Memorial Day I will be preaching if the Lord allows on leaving a footprint for others to remember. There is much being said today about your “carbon footprint”. The idea is to live in such a way as not to impact the environment. Leave as little evidence for the future generation as possible to even know that we were here. But just the opposite should be true spiritually. People should be able to look at our lives, and even future generations and see an impact we have made for the cause of Jesus Christ. They should see a well worn highway that we have marked and followed. They should see an established path worn in by our feet. People should know and remember that we love and loved the Lord. The only way that will happen is if we make an impact by our walk, if we leave evidence that we are and were a Christian.
