Deut 6:10-1210 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
12 Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

How could Israel every forget the Lord? Not after God brought them out of Egypt, protected and provided for them 40 years in the wilderness, brought them into the Promised Land and gave them all those good things. Israel could never forget the Lord could they? How sad that they did. They were in the Promised Land only a few generations until they turned completely away from the Lord. One may wonder how they could do that. And then we find this verse. 1 Cor 11:24
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. We also must do things to remember or we will forget. Christian will you remember the message you heard yesterday in church today? Will you remember how God spoke to your heart and the decisions you may have made just yesterday? Will you remember them and keep them today? God has done far more for you and me in Jesus Christ than He did for Israel and yet at times we forget more quickly than they did. Not only begin your day with the Lord today, remember Him all through the day.
