35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Luke 6:12
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.Prayer, what a blessed truth it is that we can go the God of all and pray. To know He is there and He is attentive to our prayers. Some things we pray little about, some things a lot, but our God is always there. The one who made heaven and earth is listening to our prayers. And they are not forgotten by God. Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Christian we can pray, whatever the need, whatever the trial, whatever the desire we can pray and pray we should. Our loving heavenly Father knows what is best for us, Jesus wants what is best for us, and the Holy Spirit is within to do what is best for us. Do we trust Him enough then to bring it to Him in prayer and place our lives in His loving care. Men ought always to pray.
