12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.”I am a stranger with thee”. What a blessed truth. Jesus walked a stranger in this world. He came unto His own and they received Him not. Jesus was a stranger to them. His meat was to do the will of the Father. As Jesus walked in this world it was in the will of the Father not after the tradition of men. His walk was spiritual not worldly. He had an eye for heavenly things and not earthly. Because of that He was a stranger in the world. Christian if we live for the Lord we will be a stranger to the world as well. We will have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. Because of that the world will be a stranger to us. But we are not alone. We can walk a stranger with Him. What a blessed truth that when we walk with Jesus we never walk along. Isn’t it a blessing to be a stranger with Him?
