Eph 6:13-15
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;Our feet are to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. I am reminded of two other verses as I think of verse 15 above.
Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
We are to move forward in this world crying out the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to carry that gospel to the lost. What good is it to stand in truth, be protected by that truth, live in righteousness and never tell another living soul what we have in Jesus Christ. People, lost people need to hear of the Lord Jesus Christ, they need the gospel. What are you doing to tell them of Jesus? Yes we need to live it, we need to trust in Him, we need to have a good testimony, all that is true. But we also need to take the gospel message to the lost. Put on your gospel shoes and tell someone about the Lord. Far too many who know of His salvation keep is a secret within. The gospel is not given to man to be hid, but to be shared. Put on your gospel shoes.
