Eph 6:10-17
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord , and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:December 7th is one of the most famous days in the history of our nation. Ever think it strange that so many would remember a date that marks a day of great defeat in our nation? We need to remember that day. If we forget we will open ourselves to more and more attacks from our enemies as happened on 9/11 a few years ago. We need to remember so we will stay strong and alert. There is a need for America to remember.
Christian, I do not believe we should dwell on past failings and mistakes but we need as well to remember. Remember where Satan tripped us up, remember what Satan used to deceive us, remember how he got us to turn away from the Lord and to the world. Don’t remember to beat yourself up, but remember so you know that you are always in a fight. Remember so you will stay alert spiritually. Remember so you will not make the same mistake again. Remember so you will be strong in the Lord. Remember.
