daily devotions

9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.Paul here us at Corinth. As far as the apostle knows he stands alone there with Silas as the only Christians in the city. But take note of what God tells Paul in verse 11, “I have much people in this city”. God knew that with the preaching of the gospel message many people would get saved. All that was needed was for one to stand up for the Lord and tell the lost of Jesus Christ. God has many people everywhere if only Christians would witness for the Lord, if only Christians would live for Christ, if only Christians would tell the gospel message. But even as Christ said the laborers are few. Tell me, how many people cross your path each day who if they would die right now would spend eternity in hell? How many of them would turn to Christ if they heard the gospel? Have you ever told them of Jesus? Are you living a life that can let them see Jesus in you? Have many might God have in your city if only they could hear?
