Ps 27:11-1411 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Teach me thy way O Lord. What a request David made here of the Lord in prayer. “Teach me thy way O Lord”. How often do we pray in that way? For the most part Christians today want little to do with the way of the Lord. They want to be sure of a place in heaven and at the same time want to live their own way in the world. It is no wonder that so many are so confused, so troubled today. The only way to have any peace in this world is to be found walking in the way of the Lord. Yet I think today that even as this devotional is read that very few will really ask God to teach them his ways, to guide them in His path. Most want to know God but not follow God. Could it be that you will begin today to ask God to teach you His way, to lead you in His path?
