24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.In one aspect our path, our road to heaven is safe and sure. He will keep us and present us faultless in the presence of His glory. Nothing will ever change that truth. We are kept by Christ.
But in another aspect our path to heaven is a most dangerous one. The enemy of our faith is always on the prowl, always looking to trip us uo, always trying to get us to fall. Were we rough mountain climbers it would be no worry, we would always be climbing upwards. But with many if not most of us that is not the case. It is so easy to stumble along life’s road. Even the smallest of pebbles cause us to trip at times. What to do then? Look to the one who will pick us up and set us on our feet again, look to the savior, look to Christ. He is always there to pick us up, always there to wrap us in His capable arms, always there to forgive. Look to Christ, He alone is able to present us faultless at the end of our journey and He alone is able to keep us on our way.
