Dailey Devotions

Good morning:

I am far away from my desk this morning. Yesterday I flew to NC to meet my daughter and we will drive back later today so she can spend a few days at home. I was thinking during my trip of our topic the past few days. I was to leave State College at 8:00am, fly to Philly, then to Charlet NC (I am sure that is spelled wrong), then to New Burn where Becky would pick me up. With lay overs the trip would be 7 hours. Counting the time it would take to drive from our home to the air port in State College it would be an 8 hour travil day. Dena and I left for State COllege at 5:00am because they wanted us there 2 hours before flight time. We were the only ones in the airport for an hour and they did not open the gate until 7:00am. Te after boarding the plane we sat on the runway because of fog for 2 hours. The plane then had t refule because it ran too low waiting for the fog to lift. I then missed the connection in Philly, causing a long delay. After they got me to Charl. the later flight to New Burn was full. Finally I was put on one at 6:00 and made it by 7:00 turning an 8 hour travil day into a 14 hour day. It takes only 9 hours to drive down if you don’t stop. My point is that someone did not do their job well, many many people. Works do matter.
