Eccl 7:1
7:1 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

Everyone wants to make a name for themselves. Everyone wants to be remembered, patted on the back, wants to make a name for themselves. There goes so and so, what an honest person they are. What a hard worker they are, Everything they do seems to turn to gold. There goes so and so, how lazy they are, can’t believe a word they say. Everyone does make a name for themselves.
What name do you want for yourself. Try this one, Christian. How many people when your name comes up think of the name Christian? I hope the thought of honesty, hard working and other things come up. But does the name Christian come to mind? What are you doing, how are you living that makes a person think of the name Christian when they think of you? Or is that the last name that would ever come to mind?
