Ps 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Ps 27:13-14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Another reason not to be afraid, we know we are on the winning side. David knew that he could walk in the goodness of the Lord, in the land of the living because he stood with the victor, he stood on the winning side. We do as well as born again believers my friend, we stand on the winning side. There are many things that Satan uses to bring fear into the heart of the redeemed but we can be of good courage, we can stand in the face of all of them, there is no need to fear as long as we remember we do stand on the winning side. This truth will give us strength, this truth will give us hope, this truth will bring good courage in the face of trouble and trial, we stand on the winning side. Many times we will feel like, and perhaps have fainted because of the fear that comes over us, yet we need only take the time to remember there is one that will hide us, is one that will protect us, is one that will provide for us, there is the Lord. If He loved us enough to die for, loves us enough to live for us, He loves us enough to stand and fight for us when we call upon Him. Remember we stand on the winning side.
