Gal 5:24-25 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
KJV
The two most important things in our life will be our faith and our walk. Faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross brings life, eternal life for all who believe, repent, and ask Jesus to save them. Then we are living in the Spirit. The deepness of our faith is then open for all to see by our walk in the Spirit. True faith brings about changes in our lives. (2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.) Those changes continue as one walks closer and closer to our Lord and those changes are noticeable. Our habits, our desires, our speech, all controlled by the Holy Spirit who directs us in the things that please our Lord and Savior. Someone once asked me why going to church is so important to me and the answer is because it is important to my Savior. (Heb 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.) One must have faith, that is our true foundation. That faith then brings about a walk in the Spirit.
