Isa 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Ps 84:11-12 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Asking for prayer this morning for one undergoing a serious procedure. I don’t feel comfortable sharing their personal information over the internet but they are dear to me and while I know they are anxious about the outcome they are also placing all in the hands of our Savior. Someone once said to me many years ago that “You Christians use the Bible as a crutch to stand on.” My response then as it is now is that there is no better crutch to use then the sure and true words of my Lord and my God.
