Not trying to take a verse out of context this morning but one can clearly see the Holy Spirit moving and working in our camp this week. Young people, and we have a large age group, sit attentively in our three chapel services each day listening to the sound preaching of the Word of God. Even before the invitation is given they begin to move to the altar as life changing decisions are made for our dear Lord and Savior. There is a sweet, sweet spirit in our camp this year, one that seems to go beyond recent years and that is a great blessing. I wonder how many pastors, missionaries, evangelist are being called as those dear souls kneel and pray, how many help meets are being called to serve with those ones, how many soul winners are being trained and more? I know how the Lord used camps like this one to call and move me so many years ago and I know I would not be in the ministry today if it were not for those camps and that is another blessing as I look back and forward at the same time. Please continue to pray as many are and have been for the protection of our campers and staff. Ask the Lord to strengthen and give the men and women staying in the cabins with campers wisdom in praying and counseling those dear souls. Ask the Lord to continue to place a hedge about this camp and do a great work in the next few days. Keep asking for strength to those cooking and serving three meals each day as not only spiritual food is offered but home cooked meals as well. Thank you for praying.
