June 25th, 2026 by Pastor SolleyEx 17:10-12 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

So thankful today for faithful people who will step in and “Hold up the hands.” I was not able to be at our VBS yesterday because of a medical procedure my wife had early in the morning and recovery time but there were faithful people who stepped in and did all that was needed. What a blessing to see young men and women who grew up in our local church grow in the Lord and then serve Him in our local church. Many of them had parents and grandparents who taught, worked and served in the ministries here and now they are doing the same. Nothing brings a smile more than seeing the next generation step in and step up in serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
