Is the last prayer request found in the Bible something that you long for today, something you pray for today? After seeing the Revelation of Jesus Christ John had one request, “Even so come Lord Jesus.” Is that your request today? Are you ready to meet Jesus today? Are you ready to give an account of your life to the King of kings and Lord of lords today? Are you one who has trusted Jesus and received Him as your personal savior today? That is the first step in being ready to meet Jesus face to face and I pray all who read this today will be found ready. The question is not how have you lived your life, or if you go to church, of what you family has always believed and practiced, but are you born again? There should be an urgency to this question even if you are saved because time is running out in this age of grace. Time to receive Jesus but also time to tell others about Him and His free gift of salvation offered to all who will turn to Him and Him alone. What is your prayer today? Is it one where you need more time or one where you are ready to meet Jesus today?
