Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Are you watching for the Lord today? In other words are you ready for the sure return of the Lord? There is much talk about May 2011 today and the return of the Lord. The group of people that have named a date and are spouting that message have been deceived by Satan for sure for the Bible tells us that no man knows the day or the hour of His return. But Christian we are to be looking and be ready for His return. I wonder if most Christians were as concerned and ready for His return as that group is if we would be getting more done for the Lord? No I am not naming a date or even suggesting that we should have a set date or time in mind. But I am saying we ought to serve and work for Jesus Christ as if we knew He were coming tomorrow, we need to be watching, we need to be ready for His return. That person according to the Bible will be blessed by His Lord. Are you watching today, are you serving today, are you ready today?
