Job 19:25-26 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

What was it that kept Job going through all the troubles and trials, through all the false comfort he received from his friends, through the tears and sorrows of his life? It was the truth that Job had a redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He would see Him face to face when his life was over. What do you know today as you struggle through this life? Do you know that doctors will take care of you? Do you know that you have a support system made up of family and friends? Do you know that this procedure or that will correct a problem or disease? Or do you know Jesus as your personal savior, as your redeemer, as the one who paid the price for your sin and the one you will see face to face one day? If you know, as Job did, that your redeemer lives and you will live with Him throughout all eternity then you have the one who will carry you through the trials and struggles of this life.
