April 14th, 2026 by Pastor SolleyJames 4:12-15 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
KJV
I seem to be reminded two or three times each week that none of us know what tomorrow will hold. Times of unexpected blessing, times of unseen trials pop up all of the time. I answered a question from a brother in Christ and a good friend yesterday afternoon and less that an hour later how I answered that question changed. We never know what the next hour will bring, much less the next day. One truth that never changes is that our God is never taken by surprise. I do not know what tomorrow will hold but the one I have trusted with my life does and that should bring great comfort to all who know Jesus as their personal Savior. Nothing will take place today that He does not know about so let us trust fully in Him today.
