John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
KJV
A later posting again this morning but not because of slumber or sleep. There are things that one must take care of at times, not something troubling for me this morning, but something that needed to be taken care of early. Most of the things that trouble us, take up our time, cause worry or questions, will all be taken care of when the promises of verse three are fulfilled by Jesus. Jesus never made a promise He did not keep and never will and that brings us to a question this morning. Because of the sure return of Jesus, because that time is drawing ever nearer, because one is born again, what should trouble us in this world? So busy we are troubled? Turn it over to Jesus. So worried we are troubled? Turn it over to Jesus. Because of health concerns we are troubled? Turn it over to Jesus. So alone we are troubled? Turn it over to Jesus. With the promise made by Jesus in verse three above why should our hearts be troubled?
