Matt 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
I would like to take note of the compassion of Jesus this morning. Jesus had(has) an eye and heart for those in need. Try and find one in the Bible that came to Christ seeking help in time of need, whatever that need was, and was turned away. From the blind, deaf, dumb, lame, diseased and even the dead Jesus turned no one away. Jesus had compassion for all and all who came to Him, truly seeking Him were satisfied in Christ. The blind were made to see, the deaf to hear, the dumb to speak, and the dead were given life, Jesus Christ met every need. Why then do we turn to others and other places when we are in need today? I m not one of these ones that say there is no need for medications or doctors, but why do we often turn to those places first? Why not turn our nee over to Him, over to the great physician? Take note of who Jesus pleads to come to Him. “All ye”. What need is there that Christ would have you take to another before you bring it to Him? Jesus still has compassion for those in need.
