Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
KJV
There are many voices that question the Word of God today, but that is not new. (Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?) Satan questioned the Word of God, Eve entertained the thought, and that led to the fall. As many question the Bible today one thing stands sure and true, God doesn’t change. What God has commanded man is to obey. When God called for man to reason it was not to move God to man’s reasoning but man to God’s perfect reasoning. (Isa 1:18-20 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.) Israel proved verse twenty to be true as the nation began to question God’s commands and that took them to a rejection of the Word of God and later the very Son of God. Instead of questioning what God has said it would be better to pray for strength to obey what God has said.
