16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

The Word of God, the commandments of God never change and we need to praise God for a more sure Word of prophecy, an eternal, pure and perfect Word. We praise Him as well here in our little corner of the world for the seasons that come and go, for the beauty of the autumn, the newness of the spring, the warmth of the summer and even the cold and snow of the winter. We are having one of those “Old fashioned winters” and this morning that will include repairing some ice damage from last evening. But there is always time to stop and thank the Lord for the warmth that is coming, the ice will melt, winds will blow and waters flow because our God controls it all, all of the time.
