Ps 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
1 Cor 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

We come now to the foundation which cqan never be destroyed, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a rhetorical question asked in Ps 11:3 for the foundation of Christ, the foundation that the righteous rest upon becaue they have imparted to them through faith the righteousness of Christ can never be destroyed. Consider the following.
(1) There is the foundation book. The Word of God abides forever.
(2) The foundation doctrine — justification by faith. We are saved through faith in Christ.
(3) The foundation fact — “God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself.”
(4) The foundation work — the blood of Jesus applied by the Spirit of Divine grace.
(5) The foundation hope — the blessed hope of eternal life with Christ.
These foundations can never be moved. What foundation do you rest upon today? Are you born again?
