1 John 5:11-13 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

TGIF is an acronym that most people are familiar with and hear often on Friday. Let us change just one letter today and make it PGIF and proclaim Praise God It’s Forever speaking of the eternal life we have in Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy, no greater blessing, no peace that surpasses the truth that when one trusts completely in Jesus for forgiveness and salvation that eternal life is granted. Eternal means just that, forever, and it can never be taken away. Eternal means it is mine forever and one can know that because the Bible says it is so. TGIF came into being to give hope that the long week was almost over and a rest was coming. PGIF states my hope in Jesus is secure and I never have to fear what is ahead because I have received Jesus and His free pardon of sin is forever. Can you say today PGIF?
