1 Cor 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

It seems like each year I have trouble adjusting to the time change but there is a change coming that will bring a most welcome change in the life of the believer in Christ. No more will we have to contend with sickness, heartache, discouragement or disappointment, no more tears to be shed, no more death, no more of the troubles of this world. Are you ready for the trumpet to sound and to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air? (1 Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.) That answer is yes only if you have repented of sin and turned to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation depending on Him and His shed blood on the cross alone for your salvation. Going to church, doing good works, have good intentions, none of those things will allow you to hear that last trump, only salvation in Christ will get you ready to meet Him in the air. Are you ready today, are you listening, are you longing for heaven? That is a change we all need to be ready to take place.
