2 Cor 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
KJV
How is it possible for us to see and experience the grace, the power, the strength of God in our lives today? I would gladly say through the good things that take place in our lives but one cannot say that for it seems that the better things are going the less we think we need the Lord. How often in good times do we wonder away from a close walk with our Lord? It is when we are troubled, when we are weak, that we draw ever nearer to our Lord, at least we should. When we do that we begin to see the grace of our Lord, begin to draw on the strength of our Lord, live in the power of our great God and Savior. That is why verse ten above was true in the life of Paul and why it can be true in our lives today as we experience the power of God through our infirmities, trials and troubles. Take pleasure dear friend in the things that drive you closer to the Lord.
