Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Eph 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

Why do bad things happen to good people? That is a question one hears often as the troubles, trials, and sickness of life come upon men and women. But lets turn it around and ask; why do good things happen to bad people? The above verses apply to any and all who are reading this today as all of us have been born with a sin nature and all of us have proved this to be true by our thoughts and actions. Why then would God do anything for us that is good? But God certainly has done many things, good things for bad people. (Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.) Christ died for us, Christ lives for us, Christ came into the world for us and those good things are just the beginning. We need to turn the question around and realize all the good things God has done for us.
