Daily Devotions

Prov 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

We begin our two day Bible Conference this morning, something we have held for many years now, and I am looking forward to a blessing because the Word of God will be proclaimed. There are some dear pastor friends of mine that will be preaching including the pastor that was at Cherry Corner before me over forty years ago. One thing that has not changed over the years is the Bible. Men have grown older, some who used to be with us have gone on to be with the Lord, but the Word of God has never and will never change. We need the Bible, the pure Word of God more than ever today, and we need to be fed, to hear the preaching of the Word. If you are not able to join us this afternoon and this evening please remember us in prayer asking for the Word of God to make a difference, to encourage, and to reprove in all of our lives.
