2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Where will you go, who will you be your refuge today? At some point in this day you will need refuge. The word means a place of safety, a place of comfort and rest, a place where one will not be overlooked, a place where one is pulled out of trouble. It may be that you will not need that place today but I know I will. There will be a time of trouble during this day most likely, a time of pain, a time of worry or concern, a decision that must be made. Where will I go for refuge and help in such a time? Let me pick up my Bible, let me meditate upon the things of God, let me pray, let me turn everything else off and turn to my Lord. When I do that I find a place of refuge that is real, that is lasting, and that is always there for me, then I find the truth of Psalm 46:1
