Luke 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
KJV
The shepherds had much to praise God for, much to glorify God for without question. I wonder how many things we have experienced that demand praise and glory to God? I can name a few this morning with salvation in Christ being at the top of the list. I can praise God for the wife given to me after many prayers, of the children and grandchildren, of those same ones being born again except for the youngest and the assurance that she will be one day, of a Bible believing church to be a part of, of the undeserved privilege of serving Him, of strength for the day, of answered prayer, of His continual presence within, of His perfect and unchanging Word, and on and on I can go this morning. Why is it then when given the opportunity to praise one will sit silent? The shepherds praised and glorified the God and so should we.
