Jerusalem is builded As a city that is compact together: 4? Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord,Unto the testimony of Israel,
How many things make you glad? That is a word that is not found all that many times in the Bible. When you think of the things of God and all that makes you glad your think of salvation, answered prayer, heaven, and so on. Stop and think of how many things can or should make you glad. Some are pointed out in the Bible and our text gives us one of those. Going to the house of God should make one glad. That is where we can meet formally with God, where we can meet publicly with God, where God is, that should make you glad. That is where the Word of God will be lifted up and where the Spirit of God fills and works, that should make you glad. That is where people have been set apart to serve after God’s pattern, that should make you glad. That is where God commands us to be, to obey should make you glad. Are you numbered among those who are glad to go to the house of God? You should be.
