Daily Devotions

Joel 2:11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Another good day at camp yesterday and praying that the Lord grant another good day today. The Word of God is touching the hearts of many this week as the young people and adults as well respond to the preaching by spending time at the altar in prayer. I do ask that you pray that all the campers will understand how great our God is and that God is always true to His Word. I also ask that you continue to pray for the protection of the camp, campers and staff as we know that Satan is working as well. Some few mechanical problems have been taken care of and some will be today as well but overall no major obstacles to overcome there. Some of the younger campers are beginning to show signs of homesickness and we pray that the Lord send them a calm assurance. Some of us older ones begin to tire in the middle of the weak and I ask for prayer for energy and zeal to carry us through. We have many young people helping under the age of forty and many in their twenties who came to camp as campers when they were younger but we also have many over fifty and sixty as well. Please pray that the sweet spirit continue and for souls to be saved.
