From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67?Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?What a sad question Jesus asked the disciples; “Will ye also go away?” Jesus knew the answer before the question was asked. Knew that Peter wold deny Him, knew all would forsake Him, knew He would suffer and die alone on that cross. Jesus also knew all but one would return. But isn’t that a question that must have pained the heart of the Lord? It brings Him no less pain when He views our faithfulness to Him today. So many who claim to love and know Him do not walk with Him. That is the plague on the church today, that few have the desire and make the commitment to walk with Him. I wonder when Jesus looks at you and me today if He is moved to ask that same question? Will you go away from Him today or walk with Him.
