Matt 21:1-3 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2?Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3?And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.Has that ever been said of you, that the Lord hath need of you? There are at least two times when God used a donkey in his service. To stop a disobedient prophet in the Old Testament and to carry Jesus into Jerusalem. If the Lord can use an animal like that I know He can use us. But are we as available to Him. So many are too wrapped up in the world, in their lives to give a thought of serving the Lord. Yet we see God can use anyone, anything in His service. What did the Lord need you to do last week, last month, last year? Could He depend upon you? I wonder at times if we are as worth as much to Jesus as this donkey was. Jesus needed the animal and it was available. Are you?
