Daily Devotions

Isa 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, That the everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. 29? He giveth power to the faint; And to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30? Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall: 31? But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary;And they shall walk, and not faint.

There are times in this life when all of us feel weary, when it seems we have no strength left, when we just want to stop going. It is a wonderful verse, verse 31, but I want to go back to verse 28 this morning. Do you know that God is never weary? There are so many times that I wonder about that truth and then thank Him that He never grows weary. Never weary with me when I forget to give thanks in all things, never weary with me when I forget to read my Bible and pray as I should, never weary with me when I do not serve as I should, God is never weary. When we need strength for the day, wisdom for tomorrow, comfort for the hour we need turn to Him and He will satisfy our need for our God is never weary.
