Jer 33:14-17 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.
17 For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

God’s promise to answer prayer and the great things God was going to do in Israel are found in our reading this morning. But there is a problem in that the things God is going to do have not come about as of yet. Why hasn’t the promise of God been fulfill in all these years since the promise was given? Because God is still waiting for Israel to call out to Him, to see Him, to see the miracles God has for them. One day they will, but not as of yet. Even wonder why at times we see few miracles, few answers to prayer in our lives? Could be because we are found lacking in prayer. I will do many things today, it will be a busy day, but I can’t be so busy as not to stop and pray. Not to pray for a moment of time, but to spend time, real time in prayer. If we want to see the promises of God fulfilled in our lives today we need to answer His call for us to pray. How much times will you spend in prayer today?
