January 17th, 2025 by Pastor SolleyRev 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
KJV
Have you noticed how freely people use the word hell today? I listen to an interview on the news the other day and the individual being interviewed stated that he had been to hell and back because of what he had gone through. Our incoming president states that “All hell will break
lose ” if hostages are not released. While I would like to see hostages released and feel for what that man went through neither one has a grasp on what hell really is. Hell is real, is not a place one comes back on, and is not unleashed on man. Hell is a place of eternal fire and torment, a place where people who have never been born again will spend eternity in that torment, a place they can never die and a place they can never be freed from. Hell is no joking matter. Have you ever really thought about hell? When that answer is yes then you will seek a Savior and He is not hard to find. Go to John chapter three today, read of the Savior and salvation and then ask Jesus to save you and you will be born again and be free from hell.
