Ps 121:1-3 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
KJV
Where will you look for help today? I was asked not long ago before going in for surgery if I had a strong support group. The social worker was asking if I had family and friends to support and help me after surgery and while I did and do it was not the first support I thought of. Yes I do have a strong support group because it comes from above, my help comes from the Lord. There is one available to help who never sleeps, who has a constant eye upon me, who can keep my feet standing on a solid rock. Where will you look for help today? Many will begin this day thinking they need no help and they become prime targets for the enemy who is always on the lookout for those whom he can pounce upon. (1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:) Others will look for help in all the wrong directions and while it is good to have family, friends, a church family and so on, our help needs to come from the Lord Jesus Christ. Where will you look when you need help today? Me, I will lift up my eyes and cry out to my Savior for help in time of need.
(Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.)
